It is deplorable and unethical that NH hotels does not state on their website that the hotel is undergoing a major renovation project. This results in a lot of noise and dust. One cannot rest nor speak on the phone without being disturbed. Shame on you NH Hotels

Buyer beware. Nice hotel in a fantastic location. Recently renovated. But there is no air conditioning in the rooms. My room is 29C in May. I was told that the new system doesn't cool the air and I shouldn't expect the temp to change much on a warm day. This hotel will bake in summer if they don't correct this problem. Not acceptable for a hotel above 1-2 stars.

My first solo trip to Amsterdam. Arrived early, hotel were very happy to put my luggage up until my room was ready. Helpfully given a map and given a time when my room might be ready. My room was beautiful 7th floor with top to ceiling windows - a suggestion, a couple of chairs in the window area to sit and take in the lovely view across the city and view of the canals . Lovely step in shower and shower products and fluffy towels. Bed was so comfortable , the softest sheets slept really well. Buffet breakfast , a good filling selection and if you ask staff you can have freshly cooked items ( I didn’t spot this until my second morning) . A great location , close to the metro, de fjip, plenty of buses and trams and shops in museum quarter. Wear your most comfy shoes! 6-8 minutes to the museums, nice restaurants to eat locally , Spar supermarket just down the road. My only complaints, not the hotels fault , building repairs along the street near the hotel force pedestrians to walk in the cycle lanes due to the signage. The cyclists are quite inconsiderate , and do not give one time to cross, and you are uncertain if they are even goi go to stop when it is a pedestrian right of way . Book your visits to popular places like the Van Gogh museum and to see the tulips in advance to avoid disappointment. Apart from that, a lovely stay at this hotel, staff are kind and helpful, whenever I asked for help , which was appreciated as a solo traveler , thank you ☺️

Lovely hotel with spectacular views of the canal and wonderful, helpful staff! However, the hotel is wildly overpriced and shocked that at more than $420 US/per night, there are no drawers for storing clothing (just 2 tiny open shelves)and I had to request luggage racks to storage luggage. No bathrobe, slippers, iron or ironing board nor a place to store them if you did. Hotel is truly a ripoff. Very disappointed at this price point.

Wonderful location we were on 5th floor, I loved you could pre pick your room. Room was warm and perfectly comfortable. Cleaning staff very efficient and friendly. Breakfast was good and very handy before leaving hotel for the day. I would definitely us NH Hotels again.
